The Great Taste Awards are the 'Michelin Stars' of the produce world, and are run by The Guild of Fine Food, which is a UK trade association that seeks to promote excellence in speciality food.

The 2010 Great Taste Awards have recently been announced, and below is a list of all products we stock that bagged a glittering gold star, or three.

Made by the Donge family and their team in Triconville, this is thought of as one of the best available. Etienne Donge set up the dairy in 1930 and his great grandchildren Luc and Jean-Michel run it today. They follow very traditional methods hand-ladle the curd and make a classic full flavoured vegetabley brie. It has a smooth runny texture, its soft straw-coloured paste exuding a strong yet creamy flavour.
