Hugo is the founder and head chef of Berwyn Events, a highly respected catering company for discerning gastronomes. As of today he will be supplying the market with wonderful, seasonal, hearty fare, plus an array of lighter, fresh and healthy salads.

Inspired by his grandparents' farm in Shropshire, where they had an amazing kitchen garden, his early memories are of picking goosberries and eating peas from their pods. He makes cider every autumn and has just bottled his latest brew (we're hoping we might get to try some!).

We seriously recommend you try today's lasagne for lunch or take home some gruyere stuffed chicken in Bayonne ham au gratin for your supper - it's wonderful.
